Ann Meldon Hugh is a stoneware and bronze sculptor, living and working in Kells, Co. Meath. A Dublin native, Ann graduated from the National College of Art & Design, Dublin having majored in Sculpture.

To date, Ann has completed nineteen public sculptures. She also divides her time between studio work and private commissions.

Ann finds inspiration in the human form and its relationship with the environment, past and present. Many of her public works are inspired by the ancient history of their location.

Ann devotes her free time to various community-orientated projects such as special needs initiatives and artists' placements.
